Scenic and Video Designer specializing in the integration of physical and digital environments for live performance.

Trained in scenic design and painting, I’ve created work ranging from Broadway and Disney international cruise productions to immersive experiences like Harry Potter: the exhibition. My focus is blending physical scenery with digital environments, animation, and projection to create cohesive, imaginative spaces for performance.

I’ve collaborated with most major regional theaters across the United States and was honored with a Helen Hayes Award for directing a musical. ( i like to think of it as proof that storytelling matters, no matter the medium. )

MY Story

I started early with computer aided design softwares exploring my interest in 3d spaces. I continued to school using paint, learning how light, texture, and perspective can turn flat surfaces into believable worlds. That foundation in traditional design and classical painting still drives everything I do, even as the modern tools have evolved.

My designs have expanded into Broadway stages, at Disney Cruise Line, in immersive exhibitions like Harry Potter the exhibition, and across major regional theaters throughout the U.S. and my work has travels globally on cruise ships.

Along the way, I’ve built 3d worlds, animated characters and environments, and developed visual systems that seamlessly integrate physical scenery with digital media. I’ve collaborated closely with directors, choreographers, and production teams to create spaces that don’t just look good: they perform night after night on every stage in every port.

I’ve also directed musicals (and won a Helen Hayes Award for it), understanding the view from both sides of the table (and occasionally know when to stop!)

My work is about storytelling through light & space: creating environments that move, illuminate, transform, and support performances in ways the audience doesn’t think is possible, pushing imagination to the limit.
